INTRODUCTION Environmental issues will undoubtedly be one of humanity's most pressing concerns in the twenty-first century, and it is becoming clear that sociologists can play a key role in casting light on these issues and the efforts that must be taken to address them. This is due to a rising recognition that environmental issues are inherently social issues. They arise from human social conduct, are perceived as bad because of their influence on humans, and require society effort to solve. As a result, it's no surprise that environmental sociology has grown in popularity in recent decades. However, systematic sociological examination of environmental issues is a comparatively new trend in the area. One Earth - Environmental
